投注無限心力，將葡萄當成自己小孩來培養，盛夏揮汗，冬季風霜，當收成季節帶來的成果讓農人喜悅，那正是所有努力化為成果的感動，農勤之躍Farmer's Leap便是這樣全心投入且專注的酒莊，酒莊位在南澳的知名副產區Padthaway，現在由Scott Longbottom與Cheryl Merrett共同打理。

 

Pathaway區位於南澳，陽光充足讓葡萄果實成熟，加上莊主Scotte與Cheryl奉獻心力照顧與釀造，讓酒體堅實飽滿，使用美國新橡木桶陳年18個月，顏色呈現飽滿的深紫黑色，杯中迸發濃郁且集中的李子果香，摩卡與辛香料氣息從邊緣帶出，伴隨瀝青的刺激，以及雨後大地的森悠寧靜，表現豐富多變，酒體飽滿穩重，口感卻又剛中帶柔。獲得國際葡萄酒競賽『金牌獎』，WA也給予92的高分

 

Padthaway Shiraz has a vibrancy and intensity that is so inviting in the glass. Farmer's Leap Shiraz combines all of that vibrancy plus extended oak maturation to give you a very generous wine. This wine is fantastic to enjoy now or cellar for a few more years. Its soft finish makes it easy to drink with a wide range of foods.

Very deep garnet in color with a hint of purple, the Farmer's Leap 2005 Shiraz has pronounced notes of ripe black currant and blackberry with some tar, damp earth, licorice and roasted coffee beans. Some cedar notes still remain. Full-bodied with firm grainy tannins and crisp acid, it has plenty of expressive dark berry fruit and earth flavors, finishing long with lingering notes of cloves and anise.
