Scott Longbottom和Cheryl Merrett是酒莊的共同創辦人，
兩人皆出身自Limestone Coast一帶的農家大族，在農業有非常豐富的經驗。
Cheryl擁有種植葡萄的技術，Scott對Padthaway的風土無比了解
1993年開始種植葡萄，到2004年才釀造了第一個年份
對上天滿懷感恩的他們開始將佳釀分享至全世界。

特別選擇成長於石灰岩上的Shiraz葡萄藤，土壤能夠提供葡萄根更多礦物質，帶來均衡性與複雜度，
並使用耗費人力的逐串果實精選法，選出最健康成熟度最好的葡萄果串，在美國新橡木桶中陳年24個月，
帶來巧克力牛奶的風味，是可以陳年卻也能夠在年輕時帶來爆發性果香的葡萄酒，同時富含均衡的酒性與複雜度，是酒莊的旗艦酒款。
非常深的紫黑色酒體，果香飽滿濃郁，充滿黑櫻桃果醬與香草氣息，入口集中果感豐沛，是典型的澳洲水果炸彈，

Padthaway Shiraz has a vibrancy and intensity that is so inviting in the glass. The Brave was blended from individually selected barrels, looking for the greatest depth and intensity which individual barrels and special oak types can deliver. This wine is fantastic to enjoy now or allow to mature in your cellar for a number of years.
Strong, rich and mouth filling, soft cherry and spice with a lingering flavours of milk chocolate on the palate.

Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2005 ‘The Brave’ Shiraz has a seriously earthy / savory character, emitting aromas of dark chocolate covered coffee beans, hung meat, moss covered tree bark, damp humus, slightly burnt toast and nuts over warm blueberries and blackberry preserves plus a whiff of prunes. Very full-bodied, rich and powerful in the mouth, it has medium-firm velvety tannins and medium high acid, finishing long and earthy.
