白蘇維翁Sauvignon Blanc！這就是愛酒人說到紐西蘭的第一個反應，原因無他，白蘇維翁就是紐西蘭的金字招牌。

 

不過大部分的Sauvignon Blanc都已早飲為主，並沒有陳年於橡木桶中，但是這款例外！

 

除了葡萄樹叢來自原鄉波爾多，更使用『甜蜜點』（sweet spot）概念，僅採收酒莊最老的10列葡萄樹來釀造Envoy系列，有非常豐富的層次與陳年實力，且數量極少。

 

Spy Valley - 榮獲『紐西蘭最佳酒莊』與『最佳葡萄酒製造商』等頭銜的優良酒莊。

 

2009年份Envoy Sauvignon Blanc獲得葡萄酒大師Bob Campbell給予93的高分，並稱讚他『飽滿而富有力道，擁有令人印象深刻的精緻結構與悠長尾韻！』。

史拜酒莊Spy Valley Winery於1993年由Johnson家族所創立，地處紐西蘭南島北邊的Marlborough馬爾堡產區，由於當時進駐此區的酒廠很少，Johnson家族特別選擇了Omaka河畔，偏內陸且海拔高，土壤較乾燥貧瘠地，溫度特別涼爽，是馬爾堡產區最適合種植釀酒葡萄的美地，這裡過去有大片牧場，因附近曾有美軍的間碟訓練基地在此駐紮，酒莊因此取名Spy。

 

酒莊起初成名代表為Sauvignon Blanc白蘇維翁，漸漸的，需要冷冽環境的的Pinot Noir黑皮諾與Riesling麗絲玲白葡萄也嶄露頭角，發展出獨特的迷人性格，發展成一個風格別具的酒莊，獲得許多酒評高度肯定，2008年在國際葡萄酒與烈酒大賽IWSC（The International Wine and Spirit Competition）中獲選為『紐西蘭最佳酒莊』，同年的英國Decanter雜誌也評鑑他為『最佳的新葡萄酒製造商』，Wine & Spirits於2008年舉辦的餐廳投票評鑑（Restaurant Poll）中，酒莊也名列『最受歡迎紐西蘭酒』。

 

來自法國波爾多的原生Sauvignon Blanc葡萄樹種，使用『甜蜜點』（sweet spot）概念，酒莊只採用最老的10列葡萄樹來釀造Envoy系列，這是酒莊幾十年經驗下來，認定園內最優質的葡萄樹群！

 

葡萄收成發酵後於法國新橡木桶中陳年12個月，除了氣候給予Sauvignon Blanc的純淨感，更帶來一份濃厚卻合宜的橡木桶香草香氣，結實內斂的酒體飄散乾燥香料與成熟的百香果氣息，熬煮果醬，豐富的新鮮熱帶水果風味展現其中，柔軟卻帶成熟嚴謹的酒體結構，複雜度極其誘人。

 

葡萄酒大師Bob Campbell給予93的高分，並稱讚他『飽滿而富有力道，同時該有的葡萄特性如礦石與青草氣息都非常明顯，擁有令人印象深刻的精緻結構與悠長尾韻』。

Brilliant pale-edged straw-yellow colour with gold-green hues, this has a soft, full bouquet with density and depth of complex secondary aromas of cooked gooseberries and beans with herb notes, along with subtle barrel-ferment notes. Dry to taste, the palate is an amalgam of ripe tropical fruits, herbs and nettles with well-judged barrel-ferment oakiness. This is softly concentrated, and texturally fine, though a touch of alcohol comes through. The finish has good acidity and is sustained. Serve this complex wine with grilled seafood and Middle Eastern vegetable dishes over the next 3-5 years.
