一看這五箭就知道與Rothschild家族有關，當年的金融帝國創始人Mayer Amschel Rothschild育有五子，這五支箭就象徵著，只要兄弟凝聚在一起，世界上沒有任何人能夠與其競爭，後來他們跨足許多產業，其中最讓愛酒人津津樂道的當然是現在身為五大酒莊的Chateau Lafite與Chateau Mounton，另外還有索甸的Chateau Riessac、右岸名莊樂王堡Chateau l'Evangile、其他還有如Chateau des Laurets、Chateau Clarke、Chateau Malmaison，以及許多法國以外，像是阿根廷與智利的產業。

Baron Edmond de Rotschild便是Rothschild家族其中一員，他的五箭標雖然不大一樣，但很明顯地展現出Rothschild家族的光榮使命，現在Rotschild家族購買的其他莊園，包括海外產業，都歸置於這個五箭之下，Chateau des Laurets 勞蕾斯酒莊便是位於右岸，聖愛美濃衛星產區Puisseguin-Saint-Emilion，這裡是愛酒人士的尋酒寶地，充滿許多品質優異而價格低廉的好酒，而出自名莊的確也是品質的保證。

Chateau des Laurets另一個特色是請來Michel Rolland當釀酒顧問，並高比例使用Michel最熟悉的Merlot葡萄來釀造，使用低產量與成熟葡萄來確保品質，完全去梗發酵，並適度陳放於橡木桶內15-18個月，名莊工藝加上明星釀酒顧問，的確為酒莊帶來廣大愛好者。

Impressive for this appellation. Spicy exotic nose with vanilla, hazelnuts and cocoa. Opens up with a nice earthy minerality and polished fruit. Wonderfully juicy and nicely textured on the palate with good length. Soft and fine tannins. Really delicious to drink now, but tannins will soften further over the next couple of years. Bold, ripe and almost flashy, showing good drive and vivacity, with fresh acidity pumping the boysenberry, steeped plum and raspberry fruit along while a roasted apple wood note fills in the finish. Drink now through 2018. 18,300 cases made. –JM
