陳新民老師『稀世珍釀』一書中推薦的西班牙國寶Alejandro Fernandez費南德茲酒莊,酒莊最有名的酒款系列就是Pesquera,共分一級酒Grand Reservaˋ二級酒 Reserva和基本款Crianza。

 

此款二級酒 Reserva是酒莊的『口碑酒』,酒款表現的誘惑與迷人,在林裕森老師的『西班牙葡萄酒』一書中這樣形容,『Pesquera的紅酒非常接近斗羅河岸的典型,豐盛的果香與木香交織,酒體雄壯濃厚,卻多酸均勻,有著如巧克力般的單寧質地。』

 

WA給予93高分,認為『均衡且優雅』,且可以陳年15-20年,還說『這是可以讓人展露笑容的酒』,IWC也給予92分,而西班牙酒網站Decantalo也賦予94分好評,而且說他是『非常雅緻而圓熟的好酒』。

這款Reserva等級的Pesquera,於橡木桶中陳年24-36個月,並再在瓶中陳年12個月才上市出售,有著深沈的墨水,菸草,礦石,大地類芳香,黑巧克力質感般的單寧,黑色莓果與花香在杯子中源源不絕,這就是西班牙陳年級Reserva紅酒的魅力,橡木桶的使用非常恰到好處,不會掩蓋掉Tempranillo特殊的黑色莓果的氣息,卻更能增加風味,現在喝已經有很棒的變化,餘韻撩人,有著國寶級酒莊的地位,這可是支非常划算超值的酒款,陳年後的表現必定更加出色。WA給予93高分,認為『均衡且優雅』,且可以陳年15-20年,還說『這是可以讓人展露笑容的酒』,IWC也給予92分,而西班牙酒網站Decantalo也賦予94分好評,而且說他是『非常雅緻而圓熟的好酒』。

The 2009 Pesquera Reserva is aged for 24 months in barrel. It offers luscious fruit: a medley of red and black fruit that are well defined, infused by iodine and black olive compote scents that add another dimension. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, quite sturdy tannins that encase the layers of ripe fruit at the black end of the spectrum. It has a creamy veneer that caresses the mouth and a sweet, vanilla tinged finish that is modern in style, but fresh, well balanced and classy. This Pesquera is endowed with the potential to age gracefully over 15 to 20 years. This is a gorgeous wine that can only bring smiles to faces. Drink 2014-2025+.

 

IWC(Stephen Tanzer):92 points

Deep ruby. Smoke- and spice-accented aromas of candied cherry, sassafras and potpourri, with subtle cured meat and mineral notes building with air. Rich but vibrant, offering sweet dark fruit flavors that gain energy and spiciness in the glass. Chewy tannins add grip the sweet, powerfully long finish. This is still a baby.

 

Decantalo:94 points

A great Reserva wine, with the pure expression from Ribera del Duero. It is made of desteemed and entire grains of Tinta Fina grapes. After a long maceration, the wine goes through an ageing in American oak barrels for 24 months. After being bottled, it stays in the bottle for 12 months more.

It is recommended to decant this wine an hour before tasting it.  Although this wine is already at its optimal moment for consumption, Pesquera Reserva 2009 is a wine for ageing that will keep rounding out in the bottle for long. It can be enjoyed within the next 10 years.  A very elegant and round Ribera del Duero wine.

酒莊的特殊旗艦酒Pesquera Janus Gran Reserva『雙面門神』早在西班牙受新式釀酒法大似入侵之前久已經非常出名,Janus是羅馬神話中的門神,他有兩個面孔,一張臉緬懷著過去,一張臉注視著未來,這支酒的出生,要從1982年談起。

 

當年酒莊的葡萄狀況極佳,莊主Alejandro Fernandez決定製造一款特別的酒,他將一半的葡萄使用老式作法釀造,放在石製發酵槽培養,另一半葡萄則完全去梗,放在不鏽鋼桶中培養,並放在舊美國橡木桶中陳年,到了1986年,這支酒已經可以標上Gran Reserva珍藏陳年等級,莊主嚐過以後非常震驚,沒想到以新舊手法混合的這款酒,擁有出乎意料的平衡與複雜度,遂以Janus這個擁有兩張面孔的神祉為名,代表新與舊的完美結合,他感謝小時候所受的舊世界風格影響,也心胸開放的嘗試新世界釀酒風格。

 

Janus『雙面門神』品質優異,嚴肅不缺柔美,結實卻帶奔放,酒評家Robert Parker稱它是『西班牙的彼德綠堡Petrus』,這在以評波爾多酒出名的Parker眼中來說,是何等的讚賞!
