邦達利酒莊Bundaleer位於澳洲南端Southern Flinders Ranges產區,充滿原始地塊的氣息,鮮少受到人為的污染,酒莊在1998年開始種植了他的Cabernet Sauvignon與Shiraz葡萄樹藤,這個莊園由兩個家庭所共同擁有,現任釀酒師為Ang Meaney,精選健康的優質葡萄來釀造葡萄酒,這裡的環境優美豐富,葡萄園自然風景廣闊,還是澳洲電影Beautiful Kate的拍攝地點之一。

 

Bundaleer的酒款以易飲物美價廉著稱,紅白酒與氣泡酒全部都曾獲得獎項,如所出產的氣泡紅酒曾獲得Hyatt Advertiser的『消費者年度大酒』評鑑榮耀(Consumer Wine of the Year),另外也獲得『評審大賞』(Judge's Choice)的稱讚,酒莊所產Riesling也常是金牌與特選獎的常勝軍(Gold and Trophy),這絕對是日常生活能夠輕鬆飲用的優良好酒,這也是酒廠所抱持,人生就是要快樂的理念。

約翰杜佛針對Barossa地區最出名的Shiraz施赫所做的酒款,期望能發揮Barossa地區的風格、年份與品種特性,所以取名Entity『本質』,100%橡木桶陳年,其中30%為新桶,這支酒風格稍微甜美,這也是一般人對Barossa地區Shiraz所擁有的印象,但畢竟是John Duval,酒質中富含許多皮革、胡椒、柔軟而優雅的甜黑色漿果等,喝起來一點也不會有Barossa給人的嗆辣感,反而軟綿但仍結構精良。

 

 

My aim with Entity is to produce a wine true to the Barossa Valley, variety, and vintage. Traditional, low intervention winemaking techniques were employed with Entity, allowing the wine to be approachable in its youth but with ample structure and fruit depth to allow great potential for improvement in the bottle, under good cellaring conditions, for at least 10 years.

The purple-colored 2007 Entity Shiraz spent 17 months in 30% new French oak, the balance in seasoned French and American oak. It displays an alluring nose of wood smoke, game, meat blood, Asian spices, and blueberry. Ripe and sweetly-fruited, this plush effort conceals enough structure to evolve for another 2-3 years. Drink this classy offering from 2012 to 2022.
